Come Sunday

As recorded by Bob McChesney from the album Come Sunday. This classic by Duke Ellington is written as a medium, easy swing in the key of Eb. For solo instrument or vocalist, jazz trio (piano, bass, drum set), and a string section (violin 1 & 2, viola, cello). The string section plays swing eighth-note figures throughout, however the parts are fairly easy to play. There are improvised solo sections for the solo instrument/vocalist and the piano. After the piano solo, the song modulation to the key of E for the last verse.
