Come Sunday CD

The selections on this album are songs of worship that, like me, you may have heard for much of your life from weekly Sunday services.

I have presented these songs in a jazz context and they were played by some of the most talented musicians with whom I’ve ever had the privilege to record.

I felt that it was an important and worthwhile endeavor to combine the spiritual experience of improvising jazz with the spiritual feelings invoked from these songs of worship. I hope you enjoy listening to this recording as much as I enjoyed making it.
